I'm sure the platform as big as Waves won't do anything stole your bitcoin like you said, I used to trade with the Waves platform for more than 2 years and it didn't matter.
I have the same thinking, I have been using waves for the past years and there is no problem.
In such cases, the best way out is to contact the provider which is waves in this case. Did OP resolve the problem?
