Chats in gambling is a good idea and a way to build relationships with fellow players.
As long as there are no signs of cheating say on a poker site, then I think this is a advantage to the players.
If every gamblers are too generous on giving tips and sharing their strategies that would be a good one but if they are just talking about their winnings, then I guess it would be hard to communicate on that chat box. On a gambling site, its hard to know whether they are saying the truth or not, so better not to believe on them 100% and don't rely on that but this is indeed a good idea.
Just like with chat on exchangers. All this, words like "let's pump...coin!" can be lie.
Basically, everything depends on person. I almost do not look on chats, but that was the source from where I've found about this forum, so we may say that the use of such chat is not only bad or worthless.
