I got 220 cloak in the wallet but the problem still exists. Does the wallet needs to be online at all times? I mean I cannot shut off the laptop or what? Thx for your advice
You will only get rewards while the wallet is open, unlocked and online. When you close it, lock it, or shut down your computer, no rewards for that time period will be earned. Pretty standard QT based wallet operation.
When your wallet is offline your coins will only gain coin age. this means when you switch your wallet on (lets say after 1 year) and you wait until all your inputs staked, you will get 6% reward for each input.
