So he means that the "real" coins created on top of the Nxt should keep their value constant with changeable supply of coins.
But NXT will still have the same amount of coins right?

If that's so I think you are right. Value can rise.

Maybe it's a plan to create real coins with constant values and real coins with unchaneable supply of coins.
I don't know if this is possible =)
