There is a buzz in the crypto space about IEO and every company that want to raise funds by selling its tokens will now think about IEOs and not ICOs. So yeah, its like the arrival of ethereum out-ranked the litecoin from the position of king of altcoins like that. I guess, situations may get restored as IEOs may start attracting more investors in near future so that may have another set of statistics which may speak about increased investors.
