I do not know if it has anything to do with this whole situation which alone is confusing enough but last summer, a guy named Lucifers attempts to blackmail multiple bounty hunters by sending them private messages requesting either ETH or merit in exchange for not disclosing the addresses that link them. As it can be seen here OP and his alt both pay 3 merits within 10 minutes (many others do the same).

Do you think this could be somehow connected with Tomoit?
