Notice how I said some innovation and nothing really innovative about vertcoin or earthcoin?

I wouldn't say that's a contradiction. They both don't bring that much new to the table that warrants them having a high market cap. They obviously have some different features (albeit nothing significant), but they aren't Namecoin for example. I hope you understand this.
