Earthcoin never had anything going for it and I'd go so far as to say, was a scam. The foundation is a joke obviously thrown together to deceive hapless goodniks. Take a look at it over at www.earthcoin.biz - the projects are really micky mouse, and above all- the sort where it would be unprovable as to how much support they actually do send. 
Looks like the rest of the crypto's if you ask me, it is lacking compared to Bitcoin for sure, but compare all that to Litecoin and what do you have? Now don't peg me as a supporter cause I do not want to lift up any one specific coin, I just want the best to bubble up and get away from bank fee's, anyway, it seem's that it was hyped at the beginning with a long term plan with its mining rewards changing with the season's, does not look like a scam IMO, I mean really, if it was I would be seeing some attempt's to pump it again and again.What I see is the flash miners came and left, the beginning excitement is gone, and now its going to float until someone creates another exciting development for it, then you will see the pump's again and its value will again spike.
