Try to promote cryptocurrency on your social media, like hyping bitcoin or other altcoins. Everytime the crypto market on green, i always tweet and post something on my social media. At least people see our post about cryptocurrency. Maybe someday btc or crypto mass adoption will happen.
It will also build interest from your personal friends who are not aware about this chain, if happened that you influence them and they also influence some of their friends and relatives, eventually more people will be able to learned about this system and start to embrace and use it, investment or real life usage will be depend on how deep they will understand everything.
