It is normal in every token that have competition.  People got an interest to trade the said coins to meet the needed requirement to win that competition.  After the competition it will surely goes down for correction and become stable where it should be normally trading without that event.

You can also look at other token outside kucoin.  Whenever there is an event that will give traders benefits, it goes up in volume and relatively the price follows.  Then have correction after such event.
