As a trader definitely trading is best and if we ask it from a gambler then definitely he will said gambling is best than all of them.
So we said what we like it. May be you are trader that's why you are saying it and also i agree with you, because of in trading we could save our money and if we have loss then at least we have a chance to recover it for holding. But in  gambling if we loss the game then no money, simply our hands are empty.     
Trading is the best of all the options but only if you know what you are doing, there are many people out there that believe that they know how to trade only to realize too late that they do not know how to do it but by the time that they realize that truth they have lost all their money and unfortunately the money that they lost is money that they cannot recover that quickly, so before you become a trader you need to think very carefully about it, there is no shame in being no good at trading, if that is the case then people can just try to make money some other way.

But if you find out after a long period of learning that you are in fact good at it then you will have the doors open for you since it is very likely that your future will be very bright since making money for you will be very easy.
