The EU is just shifting the problem to the edge of the EU instead of trying to make borders less relevant.
Please explain, do you mean the refugee problem?
Nevertheless borderless Europe is pretty fcking convenient, especially for someone who travels a lot. Just drive/travel from country to country without any hassle. Shengen area is a blessing.
Not specifically refugees (there are hardly any refugees, it is just immigration), but especially import tariffs or just plain blocking imports for silly reasons, forcing a single currency without enforcing responsible budgeting by member states or at least trying to harmonize wages and taxes, setting up EU police forces and army that is out of control of any member state, actively seeking confrontations with surrounding countries, etc. The EU in no way trying to make the EU border less relevant.
