The current situation has caused me to hold huge sum of money that I intended putting into btc and altcoins. I know once btc jump, altcoins does same.

There is no way you can predict the price of bitcoin it is a highly volatile currency, don't expect it would reach moon so fast. It may remain stable for some time or it may increase a bit and would be in between 5.5k to 6k in the next month.
