Its up to the individual, how good is the method he/she used or the experience behind. Of course you will get different answers here, maybe someone has profit a lot or maybe he/she is not that good eventhough he/she is in the market for three years.

Personally though, I would say that I'm no experts but I gain good amounts in my trading, just enough to bring food in the table monthly and then some.  .

Specially for those who have invested 2016-2017 and didn't do anything but to hold and buy in dips, I'm sure most of them gain profits in December 2017. But 2018 is different story though, lots has struggle to make some decent gains because of the bear market.
