The realistic looking coins are based on a set of templates that I have available and tried to play around with. I am not a graphics designer, but I found it interesting that people seemed to like the designs more, the more you move away from those templates and just create something more simplistic from the spot.

Maybe a general comment regarding the 8 line design:
What I really like about it is how easy it is to reproduce. I mean, even a child could sketch it onto a sidewalk easily. I think this would be a big plus for a major movement.

Therefore I would also be interested in what a professional designer could get out of it. Maybe somebody professional like play4ce could give it a go as well.
