Spiders fight to bet is very common here in the Philippines which is a majority of them was in a village or those in rural areas which is easy to find spiders. This kind of betting gambling is clearly against the right of animals or even insects but still, they have the right to stay longer and very useful to our ecosystem and one of that help to minimize of multiplying mosquitos and flying insects.

If massively collected yes it can shake the ecosystem but probably not extinct. There are two season in the Philippines once its rainy season, the hunt for spiders stops, this gives them time to multiply. Does Philippine Government approve this just like the derby cock fight?
