The biggest crime to hit the crypto ecosystem I could think of right now is waking up the next day and realizing that the entire bitcoin blockchain network is no more to the extent that no one can't trace the entire Bitcoin network. I believe that day in the world history will be labeled as the dark day of digital currency. About Trillions of dollars will be lost within one day with no traces that can help in the retrieval of even a cent of this lost money.
That crime exist because of cyber thieves so in order to correct and prevent this scenario there should be strong blockchain security that must be implemented. Expert will do the best that they can so that gradual attacks will be eliminated. If this will continue to happen, new comers in crypto will loss their trust, and expects more negative impressions. This isn't a healthy signs for cryptocurrency because it will induced a bad image and failure of expectations will lessen the potential profit which supposed to be earned by every traders.
