for now yes but in the future ? we'l never know  . there are cryptos out there ( altcoins and erc20 tokens ) most of the coins under this category are are a hell more better than bitcoin in terms of a currency use because they are cheaper  . they also have cheaper transaction and transfer rate is also much faster compare to bitcoin  .  while they can also be used for an asset use  .  but im not hoping that bitcoin will end as im not an anti bitcoin  .
