If one signs a new message with a private key of one (ore more) of the bitcoin addresses known to belong to Satoshi, he proves beyond doubt he's Satoshi. As simple as that.
Just I don't expect that to happen. If he went silent for so long, he had good reasons. Coming into light now could cause more troubles than benefits, for both Bitcoin and Satoshi.
