No you should not expect it to cross $6k as its not feasible for it to cross those levels so soon, I feel we may see more corrections in bitcoins prices in coming days. However theres no doubt in my mind that in coming months bitcoin prices shall definitely cross $6k levels, and will end the year at least on $10k levels. A pump at current levels looks difficult, but lets hope in the long run we see more pumps in bitcoin prices.
You are right, a huge pumps will pull a trigger of huge dump in the future, just like what happened in the whole 2018.
I prefer to see bitcoin price grows slightly to ensure that the price reflects informations available on the market both historical data and or any develpment news.
