If you look at the popular people who are against Bitcoin, you will find that one way or another it is beneficial for them. They may be related to banking sectors or they might have any particular interest in degrading Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Time will show us that they were never true. As the title says it's up to you, me, everyone to take the decision for the future good.
That's the real competition and they shouldn't like crypto to surpassed them. Mostly banking institutions will against crypto cause they will might be losing their clients and don't even used them to stored money but to used blockchain technology instead.
