SwC Poker is at a tipping point in current traffic levels. Site traffic and account creation is steadily increasing, and the average number of players on the site continues to slowly rise. There are often many players waiting to play if their game type in acceptable stakes is going. If you want to help the site, please start tables and sit at multiple variants you would play. SwC has never employed or used any "shills" or "bots" to make games go. 100% of the play on SwC is organic. Telling your friends about our record level bad beat jackpot, low rake, and fast cashouts is a great way to help the site too.

Thank you to our loyal players, we continue to work hard on our software and the promotion of the site.

I'm one of the people who starts games of any game type.
First of all, yes if you want games to run your best bet is to just seed them yourself. But, atleast in cashgames, I understand why other people don't. There's absolutely no incentive to do so.

Here's my perspective on it:

Often times, I still get little action when I play on my main account. It's mostly regs who start games and most regs on this site know each other and avoid each other. There are some I avoid and there's a whole bunch who avoid me (and will only sit if a massive fish joins me.. why would I not seed HU and keep them for myself?).

When I do get action, it's 95% baby seals or new seals and they seem to join in pairs. First of all, if it's disguised regs they instantly have the advantage of knowing who I am when I don't know them. When they are not, I always have to suspect they are. And I'm not a very paranoid person but when they turn up in pairs, you immediately have your eyes out for potential collusion or the same person joining twice.
A question I would like answered is: Do you monitor all your games for suspicious behaviour or exclusively cases brought up to you by players?

In short: It's not a great experience with a lot of pitfalls.

Lets make this clear: We players are not responsible for making your site successful, we are paying you rake so you can do it! We are there to have fun and, hopefully, make some money. If you want more action and consequently more rake, you'll have to incentivize players beyond the status quo if you want said status quo to change. This is not on us!
