We are delighted to report: Tkeycoin wallet has been already downloaded more than 5,000 times! Wow! Indeed, the five thousand-mark has been leapfrogged in just three days! And the download count is still rapidly rising now.
Even concerning these numbers, it is possible to make some kind of conclusion about the current number of miners - there are a lot. However, judging by the comments below our posts, far not all 5,000 users have successfully installed and configured the software. Still, even if 70-80% of users have succeeded - this is still a lot.
Obviously, we all would be happy if the percentage was 100%, but too many factors had affected the numbers. I.e., some users face errors because of the antivirus-software, others have installed an update of the operating system that causes conflicts during the installation, or, perhaps, Tkeycoin software has been failed to install because of the database conflict. Actually, there is a long list of reasons.
There is no surprise that we have not predicted all the possible scenarios in our first, beta-release of the wallet. However, we will certainly fix all the reported bugs in the next version that is coming very, very soon. Our engineers are already working on the release, and you will find the download link in our upcoming social media posts. Just hold on.
As for the mining difficulty, even passed these few days it has grown a lot. Every single day will bring even more, and the blocks will be generated less and less. For those who worry that mining is 'too easy' - do not worry, the difficulty grows fast.
