I think the price of bitcoin is already above what the price of a gold. Gold is only bigger than bitcoin in market cap, Gold's market cap is way above that of bitcoin. Some people have said that the market cap of bitcoin is going to surpass that of gold in fifty years to come.

No it is not like this in my place because in my country bitcoin has much more value than gold, at my country bitcoin is the future currency as bitcoin has very high potential of growing on trading market, if I look at the price graph of both I will see bitcoin at the top and Gold down the market, bitcoin has really good value in market, gold is old fashioned with low potential but bitcoin is modern age investment.
