I am looking possibly to get back to mining with my GPU (possibly get a second one 1080 Ti) i remember when nicehash used to do more or less like 100$/mo, but those days are gone now 
So is there any better software to mind with GPY or is nicehash still the best option out there ?...

If you want a 1-click-solution, Nicehash is the way to go.
But if you want to learn/earn more, use other coins/pools. Get AwesomeMiner ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676942.0 ) and setup your rig. It does basically the same as the Nicehash software, but you have the full control over everything.
