I understand and i somewhat experience this situation and now i tend to stay away from casino because i dont have self-control. I learned to accept losses because chasing it will only lead me to more losses which will sink into me when i spent all my money.
I'm happy for you because you learned how to control yourself by stopping and staying away from gambling. To be honest, there are times that I'm getting greedy when I'm gambling especially when I'm losing money. My mistake is I don't know how t stop myself when I'm losing but that is when I'm a beginner. Now I can control myself already. Just be disciplined and self control
