While I agree about the fact that ETH is better than ETC, as mentioned before, actually Ethereum is a fork of Ethereum Classic... the chain was split back in 2016 and Ethereum Classic is the "original" blockchain (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethereum#The_DAO_event).
