I don't think anyone that is following all this believes that bullshit.

In fact, OG fell from trust so fast once the system was fixed, you have to wonder - was he trusted because he was nice, polite, sympathetic, understanding, etc?  Of course not, his online record and RL record prove he is an ass.

OG was trusted because he was able to offer a "community" way to get BTC easier and cheaper (no tax!) than other projects.  This was a flaw in the old DT system.

If I started up a strip club and told people they could "donate" to get in, "donate" to get a drink, and donate a lot to get a lap-dance, I would be popular and trusted too!  imagine getting to write off your hobby like that!  "I'm no tax lawyer, but all I am doing is bringing my friends together.".  People would jump up to defend me if some "busybody" tried to shut the place down.

I also believe OG is being as honest as usual in cherry picking the words "I pay my taxes".

He is retired.  He has no income.  He just gets donations (no tax!) from nastyfans, and donations from neighbors when he donates excess energy to them.  He does "earn" 0.5 btc a month from this forum, but that's probably no where on the books unless he has cashed out (as a donation lol)

An asshole lives completely off donations from others, just like Al Capone, who also had no income.
