I had discovered about ProgPow algorithm change to  make harder to use ASICs to mine Ethereum.
I wonder if  it  will be any equivalent steps made by Expanse?

Yes we are working on Frankomoto, there is a bounty for anyone trying to help us.

Thanks for your answer,
I though it will be just one-to-one ProgPow changed for Expanse but it looks quite interesting - so after that Ethereum and Expanse mining algorithm will be different? Won't it hurt mining availability? now it is ease to switch from ETH to Expanse; some people has Expanse mining set as failover etc.

Why did you go with a custom algo and not another existing like progpow or ubiqhash?

Because then we would be in the same boat we are already in. PropPOW is probably going to ETH. and ubiqhash is um.. a single variable change and we felt we could do better. No offense, it works for them and thats great but its nothing to write home about.
