Altcoins have their own strategy to attract the communities in order to invest. The cheap price doesn't mean scam or no good future in it. As far as I know bitcoin started less than one dollar but now it is  thousands of price in fact it was 20k before. The price is not the basis to look at the good future because it is depends to the performance and ability of the token and the team.
