I don't know how true it remains, but here stateside, Switzerland has a reputation of neutrality in war and other political matters. A neutral buffer between opposed factions.
In europe some say that switzerland is the biggest money launderer of all time, earning big cash by working together with nazis, dictators, liberals, democrats and everything in between.
