It might be off topic, but 500 trillion watts of power being focused into the width of an No2 pencil is just plain awesome. I'd say were still pretty far off from it being a useful technology but the potential seems to be there.
The only technology with more potential is DigiByte!
Indeed, it's not going to be tomorrow, but it just went from theoretical science, to real-world technology (in it's infancy). And that alone is awesome..
