There are now many merchants big, small and those in between which are now accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their business. With the help of third-party applications, they are able to integrate Bitcoin option with their infrastructure. Here are some in the list as provided by payments startup Flexa:
Barnes & Noble, Baskin Robbins, Bed Bath & Beyond, Caribou Coffee, Crate & Barrel, Express, GameStop, Jamba Juice, Lowes, Nordstrom, Office Depot & OfficeMax, Petco, Regal Cinemas, Ulta Beauty and Amazon-owned Whole Foods Market and of course Starbucks
The heading looks flashy and looks like a promising start when it comes to merchant adoption, but it is really the case or is it restricted to a few American states, majority of the big companies mentioned have branches world wide and i am certain that those branches are not accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment yet and if they could clarify about world wide implementation then it would be a great news.
