I totally agree, as what ive observe young people do gamble but it is more like for fun and it did not come to a point of addiction unlike aged people. And I observed as well that those aged people have higher chances of losing huge amount of money since they put huge bets.
LOL you have ever seen older people who have been established in life gamble with their money? Most of them dont unless they are suffering from pathological gambling which is a disease. Old people care for their close ones and for their future so they prefer to keep money safe and sound then waste it. Younger people try their risks and easily get broken trying to do so.
If a person us already addicted so much to gambling, it is vert hard for them to get out of this, that article may have included ways to stop it but its easy to say than done.
It is hard but it is not impossible. For someone who is willing to stop gambling some support from friends and family would help definitely help. But most of them are lost causes I would agree.
