The stable coin version (with the BitCash Dollar) 0.17.1 is now available for everybody. You can download the Windows, Mac and Linux version from our website https://www.choosebitcash.com/#download

You can even pull the source code from our GitHub if you want to compile it yourself.

This is a mandatory upgrade. So everybody needs to do the upgrade before 22 June. On 22 June 12:00 UTC the stable coin hard fork will happen.

After the upgrade the wallet needs to reindex all blocks on disk, which can be quite time consuming. So if you operate an exchange or a mining pool you need to plan this upgrade well. If you are using the Windows wallet you can instead download and install the bootstrap file from here: https://www.choosebitcash.com/bootstrap.html

We already upgraded all of our servers. I will upgrade the web wallet soon, so that you also have a Dollar account in the web wallet.

The block explorer is already updated and now also shows the BitCash Dollar supply in the right corner. The supply will stay at 0 BitCash Dollars until 22 June.

Please note that you will not be able to send BitCash to a BitCash Dollar account before 22 June. You can start using the BitCash Dollar on 22 June.
