Greetings all, I have been hanging around this forum for a while now and trying to find a place where I can fit in among the different topics.  I am still learning the ropes both in terms of the forum and BTC in general.  I've had a couple of my posts deleted already (I am guessing because they didn't add anything).  I'd like to avoid looking like a schmuck in the future, so for people that have been around here awhile, what is the single best piece of advice that you have for a Bitcoin Talk beginner.  Preferably something that isn't covered in the Newbie pinned thread.  I have read through that at least three times now  

It only took me a day or two on here to learn that I need to stay away from Self Moderated threads.  Things like that would be really helpful.
