So, do you have some purpose for the coin, or just "hodl and profit"? You know, copying Litecoin code is not a big deal, bigger deal is make your coin recognized  at least as a Litecoin. As for "progressively lowers difficulty if long stale tips happens" how long block should not be found to start lowering difficulty?
