Actually you should learn not to keep any coin on web wallet or Exchange.
As long as you do that there will be risks.
I keep my coins in my wallet and I learned to set an alert on github on any wallet update so you never miss the mandatory updates or hard forks.

If you want to keep your coins in a place and look back on them 5 years later, you should keep them on cold storage or an offline paper wallet.If you follow these rules you might get rich during the next bull run whenever this will happen.
