With this backdrop in mind, will you advise a newbie to bitcoin to enter at this stage so he can be able to ride the coming "boom" or will you tell him to wait some more until the market is dipping?

No. Everybody has to do his own research and take the decision if and when to "enter" Bitcoin.
Also a good strategy for somebody that wants to buy and hold is to buy over longer period of time, so the up/down fluctuations get somewhat equalized.
All I can tell is that the market starts looking good and I am almost convinced it should grow. But this means nothing, really.

That's correct, and we are not financial advisors to advise anyone to invest in Bitcoin without any due diligence and deeper knowledge about this very risky investment method. The best thing that a newbie to do in this industry is to do a lot of researches before doing something that they might regret someday and if they plan to invest in any Crypto Currency they should only invest the money they afford to lose and do not expect too much about it.
