Hi TimTeller, as required by AML licensing laws, Bitcoin Casino only requires KYC when a player's withdrawals total 2,000 or more or when a profile is under review. It's the same for most casinos. Until then, we don't pry into your personal business. As for our license, it's reviewed and renewed annually and details are noted above in our introductory post.
At current prices, this means you only need to withdraw about 0.3 BTC before you have to submit KYC. And profile under review is in my experience from the forum history of sudden KYC requests, it can mean anything and is very vague unfortunately.
It's a bit of a shame that you have to do this, of course AML laws means you have to comply, but which AML law exactly are you under if you're using a Costa Rica license? As far as I know you only apply AML laws if you are registered in Europe or in US.
