I remember it was massively hyped prior to the ICO, and lots of people thought it would be huge. Whether it will or not is still too early to say, but it is one of those coins where the hype meant the price was too high, and would inevitably fall once the hype died away. One of the main points against the Status ICO was that it would be pointless because Kin would blow it out of the water... and yet here we are with Status having much higher cap. Having said that, Status was itself overhyped, so I'm not sure what the conclusion is, other than beware of hype!
