Everyone can't loose money, when the market is down, we have other techniques add into trading just like the
Margin Trading many traders many use of this aspects to make money while the Market is crashing.
But in most cases, dropping of price will cause losses to some traders. I know margin trading aren't used for small traders, that is why they'll fall into losing when prices unexpectedly drop off. Losses is normal in trading and no strategies that could help us for not caught into this, only we need to be prepared and never think of negative cause prices will rise up again soon.
I think we have to be patient with the market, calm when prices go up or prices go down are very necessary. indeed when prices drop some people suffer losses, but some others enjoy profits
