Read this several minutes ago. We must be vigilant on what we are investing and must do some research or study first if the project that we wanted to join is legit or not. So sad that there are some ICOs who are just making money for their own sake. Because of this issues, people becomes scared of cryptocurrencies and thinks that other cryptos that are legit are scams too.

DYOR was the key and its easy for you to step on landmines if you don't know how to read the project. I also noticed that the founders/team members who are not that active in their community or Telegram, for example, are the ones that may become shady as time goes by. Once you get the feel of the project and if you're really passionate about what their mission is, I would say that it would be easy for you to be onboard. I'm always a believer of crypto changing the world, regardless if its revolutionizing the payment system, or fun stuff such as
digital collections which I'm always a big fan ever since I was a kid. Just remember that entering crypto is already a big risk and a gamble at the same time, just play your cards smart and enjoy the ride!
