He is right, there are tools where you can read the drive with a magnetic device, so even a full format and 5 formats, still the data can be read with special hardware

Those tools are useless for hard drives with its "
Master Boot Record" all zeroed, ETFbitcoin described his term "
full format" like "
Zero Fill", so he really meant zero fill.
It's also known as "
Low level formatting".
These terms are confusing,
1. In past "low level formatting" refers to" or "reconfigure or placing address on drive's surface" but now it refers to "zero fill"
2. Some software interpret "Full format" as replace file system and scan whole drive, but few software also mention "Zero fill" when describe their "Full format" process
But yes, what i meant is "Zero fill".
