The homepages we currently have are not so userfreiendly and contain too much information for Avarage Joe.

I don´t think it´s a problem if we have the same landing page (or different landingpages) on several domains. The most important thing is to allow newcomers to get on the boat easier.
Then using standard optimizing techniques, we can probably double the conversion rate, eg. new NXTers from each visitor
