I am looking possibly to get back to mining with my GPU (possibly get a second one 1080 Ti) i remember when nicehash used to do more or less like 100$/mo, but those days are gone now 
So is there any better software to mind with GPY or is nicehash still the best option out there ?...

I've used NiceHash since I first started my farm a year ago and move my profits into a secure wallet once a month so if they get hacked again, I'm not out much.
Maybe it costs a bit more but its stable; I can mine Zcash and it automatically converts to BTC; I don't have to jump around from pool to pool trying to get a few more pennies of profit. And so I like that.
The alternatives you mention are not even close to what NiceHash offers and only allow for BTC mining with few other algos offered if any. HoneyMiner... seriously?
