Yes, this is true. We can already see that there is an increase of scams with this cryptocurrency price uptrend. New scam websites popping up every day offering bitcoin ponzi schemes, free or dirt cheap mining, fake bitcoin giveaways etc.

I think specially new comers to cryptocurrency should learn about these scams as they are not aware of it. If not, they will be victims of those scammers.
