As a phrase higher education is a pretty good one, because learning never ends because always something higher 
As for the debate about college and it's pricing, my advice to any young person is to go BUT don't go into debt for it and assuming you're not going to a world class university (harvard, yale, etc) pick whichever is cheapest.
