But this reason could apply to 80% of posts on bitcointalk.. There is not much post stritcly ontopic - I agree bitcointalk should fight against spam but I think it will be better to begin with deleting obvious spam..

Mining board is one of the highly active moderation board in this forum. Generic replies and the replies which seems like general also use to be deleted by moderators.
