This question is about if you hide or reveal openly about your coins. I think there is no shame or disadvantage about revealing about your coins and talking about it with other crypto enthusiasts. I have been part of crypto for long and trade in Bitcoin and ETH. I plan to invest in BNB as well. This is something that encourages others as well to get in the crypto market and make money.
Unfortunately people you will be meeting asking you such questions are people that doesnt even know much about crypto because If they knew, there is nothing that should make one feel uncomfortable or stressful in having the discussion, but the stressful part of it is when you are explaining it to those that doesnt understand, and would still not see whatever you are doing as serious.
I think those are the people that op is referring to. If I meet people like that, I would better not tell them what I am into concerning cryptocurrency trading, because I will end up explaining what they would not understand within that short period of time, thereby wasting my time.
